Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Your privacy matters deeply to us — especially when it comes to your health. This Privacy Policy explains how Jayla Health collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website and services.
1. Introduction
This policy applies to information we process when you visit our website, create an account, or receive clinical services. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. Where clinical services are provided, the privacy practices of the treating clinical practice and our Notice of Privacy Practices also apply.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, contact details, account credentials, payment information, and the responses you give during assessments and visits. We also collect certain information automatically, including device, browser, and usage data, and information from at-home test kits you choose to use.
3. Health information & HIPAA
Protected health information you share with our clinicians — including symptoms, medical history, lab results, and treatment details — is maintained as part of your medical record and protected under HIPAA. Access is limited to your care team and personnel who need it to support your care. We use and disclose PHI only as permitted by law and as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
4. How we use information
We use your information to provide and coordinate clinical care, operate and improve the Services, process payments, communicate with you, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your protected health information for third-party advertising.
5. Sharing & disclosure
We share information with treating clinicians and pharmacies to deliver care, with service providers (“business associates”) bound by confidentiality and HIPAA obligations, and as required by law. We may share information in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to this policy. We do not sell your personal health information.
6. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure, encrypted video for visits. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continually to protect your data and to notify you of incidents as required by law.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of your medical record, to restrict certain processing, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies that rely on your protected health information.
9. Third-party services
The Services may link to or rely on third parties, such as payment processors, pharmacies, and laboratories. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, though those acting as our business associates are contractually bound to protect PHI. We encourage you to review their policies.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Material changes affecting your PHI will be handled consistent with HIPAA.
